Through RDI, the Initiative for Open Agriculture Funding (OpenAg), mSTAR, and the Fertilizer Dashboard program, DG has developed a substantial agriculture portfolio.
DG has strong in-house knowledge of agriculture data sources, challenges, and opportunities; and is well-positioned to be a leader in this space.
As a partner in OpenAg, we seek to establish a data governance standard to improve the availability of open, timely, accurate, and complete information on resource allocation on agriculture and food security investments.
In Cambodia and Nepal, we're working on mSTAR with Athena Infonomics and FHI360 to increase access to, and use of, digital technologies in development. Funded by USAID, this program is working to strengthen knowledge sharing and – ultimately – support better food security outcomes. And our Fertilizer Dashboard program aims to identify and meet significant demand for fertilizer data in Sub-Saharan Africa.
